Humble Small Device Fixes One Of The iMac’s Cumbersome Design Flaws
By Yoon Sann Wong, 12 Feb 2018
Anyone who uses an iMac can attest to the inconvenience when accessing its ports. Installed on the rear side of the device, its location makes the plugging in of your USB stick or headphones not the most straightforward of tasks.
To help remedy this cumbersome design, Satechi’s ‘Clamp Hub’ for the iMac brings things back to front. Just plug it into one of the Thunderbolt 3 ports and attach it to the base of your iMac for more front-facing options, including three USB ports, a Type-C port, plus two card reader slots.
The ‘Clamp Hub’ comes in a brushed aluminum finish to complement the iMac’s aesthetic. Chose between space gray or silver if you’re keen to purchase it online.
