The US Olympic ski team has decided to don a slightly different garb at the ongoing 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
With help from Marvel and skiing apparel company Spyder, the US ski and snowboard Olympic team unveiled their kickass uniforms to fans on Friday.
The women’s suits were modeled after ‘Captain Marvel’, while the men’s uniforms took after ‘Captain America’. Retired alpine ski racer-cum-Olympic gold medalist Julia Mancuso designed the outfits, which were teased at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Switzerland last February.
Olympic skier Lindsay Vonn tweeted images of her getup with the words, “Who said Captain America has to be a man anyways...”
