Photos Of Huawei’s ‘World’s First’ Triple-Camera Smartphone Have Surfaced
By Izza Sofia, 09 Mar 2018
Images of the highly-anticipated Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Lite and Huawei P20 Pro have surfaced ahead of its official unveiling on 27 March.
Renowned smartphone insider Evan Blass shared a set of renders of the phones—solidifying the rumor that Huawei was set to debut the world’s first triple-camera smartphone. The P20 and P20 Lite have similar designs with dual-cameras on their rears, as seen from the photos. Users can also see a similar notch on the iPhone X found on the frontal view of both handsets.
The P20 has a fingerprint sensor enclosed in its home button, while the P20 Lite has a rear-facing reader. The final model the P20 Pro carries a notch and fingerprint sensor located on the front of the phone. The biggest takeaway of this Pro model is the all-new Leica triple-camera setup on the back, which was initially teased earlier this year.
Its upper dual-camera will capture monochrome and colored photos to offer crisper results when the visuals are merged into a single picture. The third camera could offer either enhanced optical zoom or wide angle capabilities.
Blass also shared images of the devices in different colors. Take a look below.
