Burger King Trained A Dog To Sniff A ‘Whopper’ In Its Latest Stunt
By Izza Sofia, 15 Apr 2018
For its latest marketing stunt, Burger King has trained a guide dog to sniff out its famous ‘Whopper’.
The fast food chain has teamed up with German agency Grabarz & Partner to create the experiment. Nathan Tree, a visually impaired British hockey player and his guide dog Flynn have been chosen for the stunt, where the agency trained Flynn to bring his owner to Burger King.
This allows Flynn, the newly positioned ‘Whopper Dog’, to lead Tree to any Burger King outlets when he has to travel abroad or whenever his cravings strike. Tree thought it was a cool idea to made Flynn become a ‘Whopper’ detector, but he did not know if it was possible to do so.
The video shows Flynn going through tough training to distinguish the scent of the flame-grilled burger. Tree and Flynn then flew to Paris, where Flynn was challenged to find the closest Burger King outlet, which he triumphantly does.
Check out the stunt in the video below.
