Bizarre ‘Colorless Beer’ Lets You Blatantly Drink At Work, Completely Guilt-Free
By Yoon Sann Wong, 11 May 2018
Japan’s colorless beverage trend has hit milk tea, yogurt drinks, café latte, and most recently, beer—or perhaps more accurately, an alcohol-free beverage infused with the taste and aroma of beer.
Japanese brewing company Suntory—the same brand behind the confusing, transparent drinkable yogurt—has developed the beer-tasting, zero-calorie beverage called ‘All-Free All-Time’, which comes innocently packaged in plastic bottles and cans to resemble soft drinks.
You beer-ter believe it because its official promotional ad even shows ‘All-Free All-Time’ being consumed in the office, during meetings, at work lunches, and after exercise.
While zero-alcohol beer doesn’t sound like much fun, it might work for some who find themselves yearning for a pint during office hours. Not to mention, it’s zero-calorie content would save you an extra run.
‘All-Free All-Time’ will be released in convenience stores across Japan beginning 19 June.
