Best Buy Refreshes Its Brand With A Sleek, Modern Logo After Thirty Years

Consumer electronics company Best Buy has redesigned its iconic giant yellow tag logo.
After three decades, the company has decided to give itself an updated, minimalist wordmark, with the yellow tag at the corner of the company’s name.
Best Buy chief marketing officer Whit Alexander states that the redesign is “true to [the company’s] heritage,” and serves as “an evolution toward[s] the future.”
The logo now appears to be centralized in a clean, modernized font that’s easy to read. It’s been rolled out across Best Buy’s website, social media, and soon on its uniforms and shopping bags.
