Jennifer Lopez Dons Ruffles & Opens Up About Being Sexually Harassed By Director
By Izza Sofia, 15 Nov 2019
Jennifer Lopez posed with Scarlett Johansson, Renée Zellweger, Lupita Nyong’o, Awkwafina and Laura Dern on the latest cover of The Hollywood Reporter magazine.
The women looked perfect in their pastel gowns as they posed fiercely for the camera. Johansson, for one, wore a number in a pastel pink shade with contrasting black feathers that complemented her black heels. The dress exuded fun and flirty vibes, but Johansson still looked sophisticated.
Lopez, on the other hand, wore a flamenco-style dress with ruffled long sleeves. The dress also featured a high neck beautifully decorated with pearls. The skin-tight white dress showcased her curves as she posed against a plain backdrop.
Lopez wore her hair down in loose waves, and for makeup, she put on a statement smokey eyeshadow look with a nude lip.
She also unveiled in the interview with the publication that she had experienced sexual harassment within the industry in the past. During an interview with a director, she was told to take her top off, which she firmly turned down.
“He wanted to see my boobs,” Lopez explained. She immediately said no, telling him that they were not on set. She also thanked the “little bit of Bronx” in her for standing up for herself.
Speaking about her role in the Hustlers film, Lopez admitted the part was “scary” for her as she had to pole-dance. On top of that, she had a G-string on and was surrounded by 300 extras who were all men, which made her even more nervous.
