From Lightroom presets, a Brushes pack, Instagram story templates, to photography lessons and virtual drum machines, there is something for creatives of all fields to make self-isolation more productive and enjoyable.

‘Matte’ Lightroom presets
Color correction can be tiresome when editing photos from scratch. However, Fix the Photo has presented 10 free simple ‘Matte’ Lightroom presets that offer a soft yet alluring mood to your photos.
Before adding the presets, make sure you have upgraded to the latest Lightroom Classic CC 8.0 version. Instructions to install the presets can be found here.
Black ink textures pack
Nassy Art has offered a free black ink texture pack, which you can use for text, shapes, background images and more. This demo version set is made from real brushes to give off an authentic appeal.

Digital copy of Dazed’s Spring/Summer Issue
Dazed magazine will be offering its spring/summer issue for free digitally in a bid to entertain readers stuck at home amid the virus lockdown. Photographed by Harmony Korine, the cover of the upcoming issue is graced by Grammy-winning singer Billie Eilish.

Online photography course offered by MoMA
On Coursera, you can now enroll in a plethora of online courses, including the Museum of Modern Art’s ‘Seeing Through Photographs’. Instructed by Sarah Meister, a curator from MoMA, the course delves into photography and bridges the gap between “seeing and truly understanding photographs.”
The weekly lessons are provided via videos, reading materials, practices, and quizzes. Enrollment is free, allowing you to access the syllabus and gain a new perspective on photography. However, if you’d like to get a certificate for the course, it will cost you US$49.
